The Process

Day 0

  • You contact us from the contact link at the top of the page.

  • We respond back with a phone call or an email.

  • We talk to better understand each other and answer questions.

Day 1

  • You choose us to make your website. 

  • We'll make a document explaining what the site will include, the timeline and the price.

  • Half of the site cost is paid. (Other half paid when site is finalized)

  • Choose a domain name. Go to godaddy.com to see if YourFuneralHome.com is available.

  • You start gathering existing photos of your home (inside and out), staff and products.

  • A great way to get ideas is to look at some websites of other funeral homes.

  • We provide many different pages of information you can alter.

Week 1

  • We start building your website.

  • You provide some pictures and textual content for "About Us", "History", "Services" pages.

  • You will be able to visit your site-in-progress at YourFuneralHomeName.com and log into it.

  • Give feedback on what you like and don't like about the design.

Week 2

  • We walk you thru adding obituaries. It is much easier than you think, trust us.

  • The site's basic features will be fully functional but may lack design and some advanced features.

  • A list of useful links and documents are gathered for site visitors.

Week 3

  • Design is stable and site is fully functional.

  • All information, products, obituaries and pictures are ready to go.

  • We work out kinks and discuss minor details.

Week 4

  • Site is finalized and tweaks are made. 

  • Final half of site cost is paid.

  • Rejoice and tell all of your friends and family about your fantastic new site.

Month 2 until forever

  • Site runs smoothly.

  • You login and add obituaries, send newsletters, approve condolences, change page text or pictures.

  • You call or email whenever you have a question or want to try a new feature.

  • We take care of all the website stuff like hosting, your .com name and maintenance.

  • You pay $15 per month. ($90 per 6 months or $180 annually)

  • Continue to rejoice and tell all of your friends and family about your fantastic website site.
